Computer [email protected]: What was happening in IT in May over the years
[email protected]: News in May
The National Museum of Computing has trawled the Computer Weekly archives for another selection of articles highlighting significant articles published in the month of May over the last few decades.
In this month’s selection we present an article looking at the complexities of air traffic control from 1969; a state-of-the art computer system to power the Welsh steel industry, a statistical analysis application for media advertising plus an article written by computer scientist Conway Berners-Lee, father of Tim Berners-Lee, looking back at what it was like programming the Ferranti Pegasus in 1954.
The National Museum of Computing has also provided us with full hi-res scans of the pages in this gallery. You can read all the articles featured by downloading this PDF >>
